Hello,
As a sport teacher, I'd like to track the progress of my students. I'd like to follow up their performance growth per month. But not all of the students participate each month. So, there are month with no data for some students.
I used "difference from previous month" of the pivot table, and it works fine, but it doesn't take into account that there are some months without data.
So indeed, I'm looking for how to get their last performance to compare with their new Performance.
Warmly
Hoping to hear from some of you soon.

Hello Frederic,
Sorry, the picture didn't upload correctly. Instead of a picture, it is better if you can upload a sample file, no need for real data, dummy data works just fine as long it is in the same data format as your original data. In this sample file it would be great if you can show what you have and what you want to get, so that anyone who looks into this gets a good understanding of your problem.
Without knowing how your data structure is, but hopefully it is in a tabular format, that makes things a lot easier.
In general, I would gather the raw data in an Excel table and then in another sheet or sheets use Pivot Tables to view the raw data in whatever views that is needed.

Hi,
I just added a file showing my data. All the data come from a data model in Power Pivot.
The first 3 columns are based on a pivot table.
Column "Fastest Time" is setup with "Summarize Values by" "Min"
The Column "Previous Month Difference" show what I get. I set it up as "Show Value as "Difference From", "Base Field" is Month, and "Base Item" is previous.
In the column "Expected Value", I wrote what I'd like to get. I assume that I need to create a measure in Power Pivot.
I hope it clarified.
Let me know your thoughts
Warmly

Hi Frederic,
Welcome to our forum! You can use LASTNONBLANK for this, as explained here. See file attached.
