Hi,

I created a pivot table using the Get Data --> From Fabric & Power Platform --> Power BI. In the pivot I retrieved a date field from the power BI table. The field is formatted as dd/mm/yyyy in power BI. However when the data is returned in the pivot the format comes through as mm/dd/yyyy. If I look at the field format in Excel it is set as General. I have tried selecting a date format but it doesn't recognise the field as a date one. I have checked my PC regional settings an they are ok.

Any ideas why this is happening and is there a way to resolve it?

Thanks

Bax

Are you able to access the Power Query source table behind the Pivot (via Data → Queries & Connections)?

Hi Catalin,

The Power BI table is created using data from lots of different sources and also includes lots of further processing like custom columns, conditional columns etc. so the work has already been done in the final table to get me to the information I want. I could access each data source individually and recreate the table in Power Query but it would be a lot of work and a duplication of effort which I was hoping to avoid.
