I created a measure ( NOW() ) in Power Bi desktop. This comes over when I publish, but it also updates when I or others with access open Power Bi in MS Fabric. Why is this? and how can I stop that from happening? Thanks

I fear that NOW() in PowerBI works similar to NOW() in Excel. It will update to the current date/time upon a refresh. It may be not be answer you were hoping for but consider to insert a text box in your report where you enter the publishing date/time manually before you publish. Can't think of another way.
