I need to add all of the raw data into the tab 2021 Tier 2 and have that data sum in the Totals tab for each respective cell.  The issue is that I need a formula to extract sum the data that is collected based on certain criteria in the 2021 Tier 2 tab cells that have inputs.  Basically, I need the "sum here" cells on the Totals tab to be updated based on the raw data that is collected on the 2021 Tier 2 tab.  I have attached the spreadsheet for your review.  The data in rows 7-9 is bogus data for visual purposes only.  The cells will always be inputted a "1".  The cells that are populated in each row are determined by what is inputted by the user data.

I appreciate any feedback on how to do this.

You will have to reorganize the data.
Are you familiar with power query?

Hello,

My advice, and that is what I think Catalin also means, is to put your data in a tabular format, structured in columns. That data is easy to fetch and arrange to your need, either by using Pivot Table or to the summary sheet you show in your sample file. One other benefit of using tabular format is that you can add more columns without breaking any existing formulas (if you have used structured referencing that is).

If you want to learn more in an efficient way I think the Excel Tables course could be a good starting point.

Br,
Anders
