Madam,

Kindly, show me the way of creating a dynamic link with each row of Master sheet using a shape placed beside it so that while clicking on the , automatically data will be shown in summary under corresponding title.

So everytime I choose a particular row of Master sheet and click on the , corresponding data will be shown in summary.

Kindly find the attachment for your reference in this regard, please.

Regards.

Hello,

Just a question, wouldn’t custom data types be a better alternative?

Br,
Anders

Hi,

Custom Data type is different than what I want to mean.

Here we are going from master data to summary. So need to configure in such a way so that by clicking a particular row of Master sheet will bring you to the Summary sheet and obviously data will be changed accordingly.

Regards

Hi Prasun,

Thanks for sharing your file. Anders suggestion of custom data types was a good idea, but only available if you have Power BI and Microsoft 365.

Alternatively, you can use form control radio buttons for the symbols to be clicked. Then use INDEX & MATCH to return the details. Note: the example file Master Copy sheet only contained one of the fields in the Summary sheet, so you'll see cell D6 has the example INDEX & MATCH formula.

Hope that points you in the right direction.

Mynda
