I hope you can shed light.
I'm trying to distribute a number to cells with the same date. Please can you help me?
ie - distribute 1013 to all cells with date 16 Nov and 897 to all cells with date 17 Nov

Welcome to our forum!
You need to create another table that has the number you want distributed and it's corresponding date. You can then use VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP or Power Query to bring the values in beside the list of dates.
In the attached file I've used VLOOKUP as an example.
