Hello,

Firstly I'd like to thank you for the effort, it's incredibly helpful

I'm using PC excel 365 subscription

I have to data sets "weekly" and "monthly" (attached file)

I started to create a dashboard with weekly "Dashboard Sheet" and I'm stuck with the pivot chart "Generation per source" as I'd like to add slicers that correspond to the header of the Weekly data set. I tried to transpose, but I'm not getting anywhere

I thought I could use the below help (link), but the solution only allows to select one variable, what I'm looking for is to be able to select different types of generation sources (not just one) and at the same time be able to select the one year or several years

https://www.myonlinetraininghu.....cel-charts

Also, I have a data set named "monthly", I'd like to create pivot charts with bar or pie charts and put them in the same dashboard and create slicers for years and months, but don't want two set of slicers with years as there is already one from the weekly data set, is it possible to have only one set of slicer for years that control all pivot charts coming from both data sets?

Thank you very much for your support

best regards,

Rodolfo

There was no file attached, however, as long as your pivot tables are made from the same source data - right-click the slicer>Report Connections will bring up a list of the pivot tables the slicer can be connected to, just check the box next to the pivot tables you want the slicer to control. Good luck!

thank you very much Jessica,

sorry about the file, it was too big, that's why it didn't' go through. I hope this time is ok

just a reminder, what I'm looking forward to do is to insert slicers at the left of the "Dashboard" sheet that correspond to the headers of the data set in the weekly sheet:  "hydro Run -of River", "Biomass", "brown coal/lignite"....so on and so forth, so is possible to show one, several or all generation sources that show in the "Generation per Source" chart

Thank you very much in advance!

best regards,

Rodolfo
