When I get data from the folder with Power Query, I see two options: "Combine & Transform Data" and "Transform Data."

1. What are the differences between these two options?

2. Which approach is better if I have many CSV files under the folder?

Hi Jim,

I think that's the wrong attachment!

Anyhow, Combine & Transform triggers the combining of the files in the folder into one query and opens the query editor so you can make further transformations. The Transform Data just opens with a list of the files in the folder so you can make transformations before combining them.
