Hi,
My CSV file is as below format:
Date Item Amount
2020-1-1 Apple USD 23.33
When I use Power Query to import from folder (multiple CSV files inside), I promote first row as header, but i can still see those headers (Date / Item / Amount) from 2nd 3rd CSV file populated into the combined dataset,
How can I remove them please ?
regards / Yan Tian

Attached a sample file that reads a folder with csv files.
The path to the folder can be set in settings sheet, then just refresh the data table.
One of the most important advantages is that you can have totally different headers in the csv files, all headers from all csv files will be detected everytime.
The automatic query adds a function that reads a sample file (the first in folder), will ignore other headers from the rest of the csv files.
The following users say thank you to Catalin Bombea for this useful post:

Apologies Catalin
I just can't seem to make this work.
It's clearly something I juast don't get.
My data is at the place shown on the attached Word doc (it won't let me do a screenshot).
When August is finished I would rename four of the files, changing the "08" to "09" and adding the new, September data fromthe four elements to our business.
I have seven small pivot tables showing profit etc. I had thought from Mynda's video it was just a matter of adding another file to the data folder and refreshing the pivot table - but saeems I am doing something wrong.
I would greatly appreciate your help as this "situation" will occur every month
Thanks
Chris
