Hello,

I have a report written in Power BI Desktop (Report Server Compatible) version January 2019:

Version: 2.65.5313.1562 64-bit (January 2019)

This is a simple scorecard report. The raw data comes from an Excel table.

All was going well until July 2019, when something decided to start rounding the scores. Scores below 50% are being rounded to 0% and above 50% are being rounded to 100%.

The data format in the source is uniform throughout the table, and is set as Number > Percentage > 0 decimal places

I have checked the data transformation in Power BI and cannot see anything amiss, other than the wrongly rounded scores.

Screen shots of the source and final report are included.

Hi Mark,

That is odd. Have you tested this in a new pbix file with just the example figures in question?

Are you able to share the file and I can test it on my PC?

Mynda,

It seems to be a compatibility issue with the version of Power BI Deskto RS Compatible that I am using. There is a newer version out now, so I'll upgrade and try that.

Meantime, I created a fresh report in PBI Desktop (regular type) and it works fine.

I'll mark this as solved and come back if I have any further problem after the upgrade.

Thanks very much Mynda 🙂
