Hi
Is there any way I can spread revenue pro-rata over years for example
Start | End | Revenue | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 20120 |
1/08/2009 | 5/08/2011 | $ 10,000
30/11/2010 | 30/11/2014 | $ 150,259
15/03/2016 | 15/03/2020 | $ 533,059 |

Hi Sunny,
thanks but not quite. you see the pro-rata would mean that the total value to be divided equally between all the months. the value per year depends on how many months are remaining in the year. see below
Start | End | Revenue | No Of Years | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 |
1/08/2009 | 5/08/2011 | 10,000.00 | 2 | 2,083.33 | 4,999.99 | 2,916.67 | - | - | - |
30/11/2010 | 30/11/2014 | 150,259.00 | 4 | - | 3,130.40 | 37,564.75 | 37,564.75 | 37,564.75 | 34,434.35 |

Hi autrrk
The challenge is determining "how many months are remaining in the year".
Your Start and End Dates are incomplete months and this makes it even more difficulty.
I have attached, as a guide, some calculation for the months remaining for each year (not perfect due to the incomplete months).
You may need to modify them to suit your needs. Hope this helps.
