Hi,

I have a monthly ledger with description, category and amount with multiple entries per day. I want to select a category (type it on another sheet) and have the total sum of all the entries for that category returned. Can I do this with XLOOKUP?

It sounds like you actually want SUMIFS rather than a lookup (which only finds one value).
