I have about 60 text files in which only a particular column in the text file is of importance as i'd like to find how changing parameters affect that value. Is there a way to import this data with the columns needed side by side for comparison? Most explanations or videos i have seen relate more to combining the entire text files into a single table which would just compile the columns i need under each other. Any way around this?

Hello Cynthia,
I assume you refer to Power Query and load files from folder. I would go for such approach. Not knowing what data you have, but if you in the import data step also load the filename or any other unique data that can identify from which file the data comes from, you can combine the data as usual and then load this data to a Pivot Table. By organizing the data correct you can view it side by side.
