Import stock quotes in Excel 2016

I am using Excel 2016. Pl help me to get stock quotes real-time or closing prices for the companies I track.

I dont have access to Excel 365.

Example: for AAPL, I want to get the stock price in the document. thanks

Welcome to our forum! Without 365 you'd need to scrape the price from a web page. You can use Power Query to do this as explained here.

Hello,

If you have a Microsoft account you can use the stock data types in Excel online.

I'm pretty sure you need a 365 licence to use the stock data types in Excel Online.

Note: The Stocks and Geography data types are only available to Worldwide Multi-Tenant clients (standard Microsoft 365 accounts).
