Hello, I'm fairly new to excel and I am very confused how to create multiple dropboxes.

I need to have a specific data based on the previous dropdown boxes.

Here is my sample file.

As you can see on the 3rd column I want  "gbagreen or gbayellow" on the first row.

on the 2nd row. Instead of "gbagreen and yellow" I want "gbared and gbablue"

then on the 3rd row I want "gbapink and gbawhite". I tried naming them but how do I link them?

Problem is that I can only have 1 range name. How do I do this?

Thank you so much.

Hello,

If you haven't already, do read this article. The blog section is a treasure box.

Hi MD

You can refer my attachment. I have renamed some range to make them more systematic.

My formula basically checks to see what is selected in the CATEGORY and then to decide which action to take.

You can read the article suggested by Anders above to learn more about Data Validation.

Good luck.
