I have pivot tables that I would like to expand the groups on an individual basis.
In examples 1 and 2 below, I pivoted data consisting of past colonial presidents, major religious groups and local towns. In this case, I just want to look at the Catholic towns under Jefferson. When I click the (+) plus next to Catholic under Jefferson, Example 1, all of the Catholic groups expand, Example 2.
Example 3 is a picture of the intended result I would like to see. In my simplified example it's a minor inconvience, but in my real life pivots, the data is quite extensive. When the boss has scrolled down a couple hundred lines of data and click the (+) to expand a group, it opens all iterations of the selected group which causes him to lose his place on the pivot and patience with the data.

Can't do it, as far as I know. Why don't you provide Slicers so your boss can filter the data to show the detail he's interested in?
