Good morning Brains Trust,
I have a student working on a complex excel table, where he wishes to track, sort and use historical crypto data from an API to give a better price and holistically view of coins and tokens when bought.
We have used a sample of data from his account (CSV file) and when we import it into excel via power query, where we can so-called transform date to text, date, time, etc. we are getting an error on the date and time column, however, this is not for all of the column data, only some and random areas.
I have tried several online so-called fixes and also followed an accounts advice on how she does it, but all have never had issues such as this from their CSV files. I have watched several videos to no avail. I have tried the location to aus/usa and aus/eng and setting the date, time, and date-time settings
Thanks for trying to debug this issue.
I have attached the file we are using and it is under the acquisition date column the issues are arising.
Regards
Domanic

The date time column is coming over as European as dd/mm/yy hh:mm AM or PM
What do you want the data to look like? I can convert it to US format in Excel using Text to columns functionality, but I am not sure what you are looking for.

It sounds like a locale issue that can be fixed in Power Query as explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKgS3hrrmvw
