Hi, I am creating a dashboard for our executive team and I am running into an issue. I have a pivot table linked to slicers and I want the 2023 revenue to be sorted from largest to smallest. You will see in pic 1, that it is sorted that way but when I click on aother business unit in the slicer it doesn't sort that way (pic 2). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In this case, it would be helpful if we could see a sample of the file so we can look at the settings of your pivot tables.
Please try to upload the picture (or better a file) again. Don't forget to press "Start upload" before you submit your reply.
Hi Brandon,
We're happy to help you but please don't post the same question in more than one of our forums, it just makes more work for everyone either replying to you, or me having to tidy up and delete one of the duplicates.
Thanks
Phil
Hi Brandon,
In the absence of a sample file and Pic 1, which wasn't attached, perhaps this tutorial on how to sort in PivotTables will explain the issue you're having and the solution.
If you're still stuck, please share the file or an anonymised sample file.

It won't let me upload the file. It exceeds the size allowed. Below is another pic that may help. I want to sort by 2023 revenue, which is correct in this picture but when I click on another business unit (Media, digital, etc.) it loses the way it is sorting.
Hi Brandon,
If your file size exceeds the forum limit you can put the file on OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox and then link to it.

Phil
