Hi all,
Currently my company is using a combination of column chart and scatter plot to replicate something like the below link shows:

where the column chart indicates the max and min of the range and the scatter dots indicate the individual salaries.
It is done in an excel table with some formulas currently but it is a little clunky right now.
I wonder if one can implement this using power pivot then map the value dynamically with a normal chart (pivot chart does not support scatter plot), since right now it is quite hard to maintain and debug with lots of formula to control the visible values after the application of slicers.

Hi Eric,
If you only have one dot per range then you can use a column/line chart combo with regular charts or Pivot Charts. If you need multiple points per range, then you need the scatter chart, otherwise you'd need multiple series to allow more than one dot per range.
