I thought this would be a cool thing to create in Excel during Sydney's extended lockdown - a map where colleagues/family/friends can enter their addresses, or postcodes, and see how far their allowed distance extends.  e.g. 5km, 10km radius plotted on a map from a given address or postcode.  Multiple people could enter their details and the map would show multiple circles, and you could see if/where they overlap.

How/can this be done in Excel 2016? or later versions?

Hi Derek,

Hmm, not as easy as you might think. You could try 3D maps.

Thanks Mynda.

I've never used 3DMaps before. It looks really powerful.  Certainly some potential solutions there.  And perhaps also in Power BI?

Hoping someone viewing this might know how to do it.
