Workbook - file contents - columns not in order

Hi,

When I use the Excel.Workbook(File.Contents...  function, the data comes in okay with the exception the columns are not in the same order that the original workbook has them in.

For Example:

Original columns could be      Date, Revenue, Costs, Description

Power Query would be          Description, Date, Revenue Cost.

Hi Angela,

I've not experienced that before. Are you able to share a sample file and your query so I can see if I can reproduce it.
