Days Completed, is just one way to calculate the percentage of the project that is completed. How you go about calculating the Days Completed will be different for different companies, so I don't teach that.
Another way to calculate the percentage of the project that is completed could be to use number of tasks completed as a percentage of the total number of tasks, but you must keep in mind that some tasks will take longer than others.
