I enclosed an Excel file with the "Hand Entered Data" and the "Final Data Format."
The Data in both are the same.
1) It's tabular.
2) We have 8 Pivot Tables and 7 Pivot Graphs running off the hand written data so we must either make the next "Final Data Format" the same or re-write everything.
3) The "Final Data Format" I sent you is just a copy of the "Hand Entered Data".
I've taken courses from you in the past and you advised to do all in tabular format.
If there may be an issue it's may be because the two input files are are different.
The "Hand Entered Data" we have now is in Excel.xlsx file.
The "Final Data Format" is in a .pdf file.
I fell I can remodel the data with PQ. Hopefully PQ can handle two different file types for input.
I hopping to put all files in a folder and hit the refresh button to make it happen.
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Richard
Hi Richard,
If the two input files have the same structure then it's just a case of creating two queries, one for the PDF data and one for the Excel data and then appending them.
Note: You can't use the From Folder connector, because this PDF file requires a different connector to the Excel file.
