Power Query
Power Pivot
March 11, 2022
I created a Power pivot model using power pivot charts in MS 365 (Attached). I emailed this workbook to myself and opened it on our company's server which runs Excel 2013 Professional Plus. When I open the file on the server Everything opens fine and looks good. I have the PP ribbon.
When I use a slicer button I get the Error Message "The query did not run or the Data Model could not be accessed. Here's the error message we got: MdxScript(Model) (6,39) Failed to resolve name 'PRODUCTX'.. It is not a valid table or function name."
I checked the table name and the calculated fields for the only measure I am using where the PRODUCTX resides and all looks as it does on my machine. Would anyone care to look at my workbook attached and see if they know why it will not work in both versions of Excel. There is a screenshot of the error message in there as well.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Michael,
In Excel 2013 the function PRODUCTX does not exist. i.e. Excel 2013 doesn't recognise and and therefore doesn't know how to calculate that measure. It's the same as trying to use one of the new dynamic array functions available in 365, like UNIQUE, in Excel 2013...it would return an error because that function isn't recognised.
