Good evening,
My Fiscal Year column is on whole number format, when I tried to change the format, it shows funny numbers as attached.
Please let me know how to fix that.
Thank you.
Regards,
Aye

Hi Aye,
The fiscal year column isn't a date, it's just a number; 2018. If you try to set it as a data type of date it returns the year 1905 because 1905 is 2018 days since 1900, which is the first year recognised in Excel.
If you want to make a date from this column then you need to create one by concatenating the Fiscal Year, Fiscal Period and 1, for the first of the month. You should do this in Power Query before loading it to Power Pivot.
