Hello,
I have a 10k+ headcount dashboard very similar to the "Interactive Excel HR Dashboard" created by My Online Training Hub.
My Data Model also includes additional termination files.
I saw a similar post here >>> https://www.myonlinetraininghu.....e-turnover
I am unable to create a relationship between the Active report and the Term report using Employee ID.
I'm currently doing some manual work copying pivot data and putting it into a new table, creating more pivots to create my charts. But this leaves me without being able to slice and dice and filter using other fields.
Does the Active reports have to include a term date in order for this to work?

Hi Jennifer,
You haven't said why you're unable to create the relationship, but I'd say it's giving you a duplicates error. If so, you need to create another dimension table containing a unique list of your employee IDs. You then create the relationship between the two fact tables (Active and Term) and the new Employee ID dimension table.
IMPORTANT: when you build your PivotTables you use the Employee ID field from the dimension table in your PivotTable row/column lables.
