Hi Mynda,
I have tried several variations on the formula to try to specify a year end......but I get an error message every time.
I have this (as one of my examples)
| =TOTALYTD([Sum of Orders],dates[Date],["06/30"]) |
As I am obviously entering it incorrectly, could you please advise the correct way to define this?

Hi Rosemary,
The problem with this example appears to be that the expression argument isn't an explicit expression or measure. It appears to be referencing an implicit measure, as opposed to an explicit one like this:
=TOTALYTD(SUM(Orders[Order Amount]) ,dates[Date],["06/30"])
