HI,
I have Excel Table and Power Pivot Data Model in the same workbook. I want to import only the summary (count / sum etc) of existing Excel Table to PowerPivot Data Model in order to make data model compact. So I produce some Pivot Table based on the Excel Table and intend to import that pivot table into the data model.
I clicked on the Pivot Table, and click on "Add to Data Model", error message pop up. any workaround ? or it is impossible in Excel 2013.

Hi Yan,
You've got the right idea to aggregate your data to make your Power Pivot model more compact, but again, this is a job for Power Query to group your data before loading it to Power Pivot.
