Conditional formatting limits?

Hi,

I'm struggling with a Power Pivot where I want to apply three formula-based rules to 'color' a column.

Example:
column B holds a measure that calculates a real achieved percentage
column C holds a person-related goalpercentage (a RELATED column)

The rule should be: B/C; values >= 1: green, values < 1: blue, values <=0,9: red

When I had entered the first rule the special icon appeared to apply the rule to the whole column.

But that didn't appear after creating the other rules, and it appears that only the first one is executed.

Is there something wrong in my Excel (file or application) or isn't this possible?

Kind regards,

Maarten

Hi Maarten,

Please watch this conditional formatting formulas tutorial. Hopefully that will answer your questions. If you're still stuck, please share your file.

Hi Mynda,

I already watched that video before, but still it doesn't work.

I included an example file, with the 'problem' column Declarabel in tab Actueel:
one part of the rules is visible, but the others don't.

Hi Maarten,

If you look at the blue and red conditional formatting formulas you'll see that they have double quotes around the formula. Remove these and it will work.

Hi Mynda,

Thanks a lot!
I typed the formulas over and over agaiin, and just overlooked the double quotes that Excel (apparently) adds after closing the window !
