I am trying to conduct a vlookup but the values even though appear identical after cleaning, trimming, etc still will not return the required result.

Hi Grace,
If you check how many characters in cell A3 on sheet 'Vlookup error' using =LEN(A3) you'll see it returns 7. So you also need to clean/trim this column of data too.
If you type '195023 (including the apostrophe) in cell A3, the VLOOKUP formula in cell B3 resolves correctly, further confirming the data on this sheet is now the issue.
