Hello all,
I am helping with a school project for my girlfriend, we are creating a list with psychological care providers from our region. We are looking to have a easy and straightforward way to pinpoint the correct care provider. (some sort of contact triage)
I am now collecting the data from multiple websites, I well need to sort this data to get a clear overview of the provider itself. The issue I have now is the following: (unstructured data, info not sorted correctly)
I have Annelies an private health provider Located in hasselt at an address, she is specialized in: online treatment and mail treatment, she has multiple therapy forms and multiple general practices (fear controle, selfcare, traumecare,...) she is taking care for younger people, couples and elderly,...
I want to have an easy way to filter those independent care providers on their specialties therapy form and location, male or female, education,...
Can you please point me out in the right direction? I was looking at one of your dashboards and it would be nice if we can have some sort of dashboard the can help us with this. https://www.myonlinetraininghu.....-downloads
I will attach an example of what I have now, it would be nice to have some rough guidelines on how to sort this information and get it in the correct form to filter this in an easy way. I now manually removed duplicates of each item and sorted it manually but still in one cell, would be nice to have some advice how to automate this process a bit or point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated. I scrape this from a website that has all this information but we want a different structure and internal document of app that will be able to handle our triage.
Thank you all for the time and effort,
Kind Regards, Jo

Hi Jo,
Welcome to our forum! Thanks for sharing your files. That data sure is messy!
You need to get it into a tabular format with columns for each piece of information you want to track e.g.:
-Name
-Specialty
-Location
-Education
-Gender
Each Name may have multiple rows where they have multiple specialties etc.
You can then use PivotTables and Slicers to extract lists of names based on categories you want to filter on e.g. specialty, location etc.
I hope that points you in the right direction. The biggest task will be splitting those big blocks of text that are currently in one cell, into separate cells.
