I have a simple spreadsheet with filtered rows. In the visible rows I am pasting a formula, but because I want to keep the formatting, when pasting I chose "Paste Special Formula".
It should therefore only paste this formula in the visible rows and keep the filtered rows unchanged. Unfortunately it pastes over the filtered rows.
However, if I do exactly the same but instead of "Paste Special Formulas", I just chose paste / ctrl+V, then I get the correct result - the filtered rows are untouched whilst the formula is pasted down. But unfortunately the formatting is now all wrong.

Hi Erik,
Welcome to our forum!
If you just want to fill the blanks with the values from the cells above then try this:
Select the cells in column A > CTRL+G > Special > select Blanks. In the formula bar enter = then use the up arrow key to select the row above > CTRL+ENTER.
Hope that helps.
