I am following the directions on this tutorial for Option 1: https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-multi-colored-line-charts#comments
The example data is representing a gap in products sales, so Sept and Oct are showing a good number so I would like those values to be green to highlight them. However, I cannot get it to work as described in the tutorial.

Thanks for sharing your file. You need to do two things:
1. the values in the green series in column D must include the values from Red for August and November. This is so that the green series line connects to the red series line.
2. right-click the chart > Select Data > Hidden and Empty Cellls > check the box for 'Show #N/A as an empty cell'.

Oh my gosh I am so close now. Thank you!! This is the next challenge I get with hidden and empty cells (attached). None of the options work.
