I have a vendor that I have to order a full truck from each time. A full truck is 24 pallets, except when this one specific part is on the order. Then the full truck is 21 pallets. Let’s call this specific product, x. So even if I order only 1 pallet of “x”, the max amount of pallets on that truck is 21. There is no limit on how many parts can be on a truck. I usually order 300+ pallets of product at a time and it’s time consuming to organize the makeup of each truck. I was thinking about using Solver to optimize this process but am struggling. I want to be able to plug in how many pallets of each part I want to order and have excel sort it into multiple full trucks.

Hi,
First, we will need a list of unique products with a mark on those products that brings the max number of pallets to 21.
It will be useful if you can organize a sample file with how you have the process now, showing the way you order products, can you upload such a file?
thank you
