Hi

Is there anyway to highlight table in one go by highlight row's number is bigger than column E? I could individually select each row to do conditional formatting, but I would like to select the whole table range to highlight in one go. Hopefully made sense.

Thanks

Jian

Hi Jian Guan

Do the following

1) Select then range A2:D17

2) Select Conditional Formatting - Highlight Cells Rules - Greater Than

3) In the selection box click on cell E2

4) Then press the F4 function key 2 times till the formula changes to =$E2

5) Press ENTER and then click OK

Hope this helps

After coming in editing a cell you can type in the reference you want in different ways to make the reference relative or absolute.

You can choose (depending on what you need) in: =E2, =$E2, =E$2 or =$E$2.

This is a lot of typework everytime.

With the F4 key you can toggle between these options when you are in 'editing mode'. So that's the point of the number 4) of Sunny.
