I have one worksheet with 8 columns and 500 rows of data that describe characteristics of 500 fire hydrants ... ID number, address, lat/long data, etc.  I also have a second worksheet laid out as a form to print that info for each hydrant on a separate piece of paper (or IDEALLY each into a separate PDF file, but that may be asking too much).

I need to automate copying data from the cells in the first row into particular cells on the form worksheet, print that form (or create the PDF), then move on to the data in the second row so it replaces the first, and print again.  Repeat 500 times.

I have no idea where to begin so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Please attach a file with some sample data and the form.

Sunny,

Thanks for your interest.  File attached.  All the data comes from a CSV download from an online  proprietary database to which I have no access other than for data entry or editing.  And, the header row on the LIST worksheet is not necessary, in case that would matter.

Hi Wpfreeman

I have created a macro that will generate the PDF you required (you are not asking too much Smile).

I have modified the FORM to include some formulas to extract the required information.

The file name generated will be the same as the hydrant's ID.

All files will be saved into the same folder as the attachment.

Just click the button.

Hope this helps.

Sunny,

Thank you a thousand times. Now, my crew and I are off the find the hydrants and see if the info in the database matches reality.  (We know there is about a 30-40% error rate!)
