Hi,

I have my tables set for the financial year. Data is entered from June 30 to July 1. When I come to make a pivot table or chart the data is re-arranged into the calandar year and doesn't reflect the financial year. eg January to December. This means all my charts and graphs start at January and end at December instead of June

I have searched all through the menus on the pivot table however nothing I do seems to make a difference. Its probably something really simple however it alludes me so far. Can anyone help?

Kind Regards

Dave Herne

Hi Dave,

There are not automatic settings in PivotTables that allow you to specify your financial year. Instead, you need to add a column to your source data that converts the dates to fiscal periods.

You can then use this field in your PivotTables and charts.
