How come the colors in my dashboard are all green (and do not correspond to the legend colors) when I use the slicers (see animated GIF). What have I done wrong ?

Colors in pivot tables are not working the same way as regular charts, this might help:

Hi Lili,
If you clear the slicer selections, then apply your formatting, they should stick. No need to create a duplicate of your PivotTable etc. as described in the article Catalin linked to, although that of course is an option if you prefer.
