Hi,
If I have 12 months roll visual in one sheet, can I also have a simple total or value on the same sheet as well but using the same month slicer?
Was wondering if you can upload like a very simple example if that's possible. I think this is something to do with the measure.

Hi Emmanuelle,
Yes, but you haven't been clear on what that value represents e.g. is it YTD for the month selected in the Slicer, or the total for that month only? You may need to write a separate measure depending on what you want. If it's just the total of the month then you can add a card visual for the field you want summarised and the Slicer will filter it based on the month selected.
If you want an example, then you need to provide a sample file. The onus is not on the person helping you to also create a mock-up file to help you. Particularly since we can't always visualize the structure of your data.

Thanks for your reply.
I have here attached my sample data. Basically the month slicer will let me choose the month I need for this year 2022. The other slicer is for the country. The first visual in the left will show the 12 months roll of the Inflow, Outflow, Reclass and Net Inflow/Outflow of a certain Country(this is already working fine). The 2nd visual will show the 12 months roll of YTD and Start of the Year Entity of a certain country as well. Problem with 2nd visual is that the line graph for the Start of the year entity is not showing, its only a dot.
My 2nd concern are those visuals in gray and below(Risk+Audit and Board meetings). This is the simple total output that I need in order to show the figures of each of the data points per month and per country instead of hovering the mouse to the bar and line graphs. So if I filter on a month and country in the slicer, the 12 months roll visuals will be change and the data in grey will change as well to show the individual value of the Inflow, Outflow, Reclass and Net Inflow/Outflow and the Start of the year entity and YTD of the that country on that specific month.

Replace the measure 'Rolling SoY Entity Count new' with SoY Entity Count field.
Your second question is still not clear. Please provide an example of what value you'd expect to see for the Rolling Inflow New figure in the grey box when the filters are set to Office: Mauritius and Month Year: Feb 22.
Also, please don't start a new thread for a question you have already asked.

Hi Mynda,
Apologies for this new thread. I wanted to edit the header of my first thread to make it clearer but it wont allow me thus created a new one.
For my first concern, I used the SoY Entity Count field for the line chart now as advised. It created a continuous line but the value when the mouse is hovered is showing as "1". I believed it counted the figure inside the cell but the "actual" figure was not shown. As a sample what should happen is that when I filter the month slicer to: Feb 2022 and Country slicer to Mauritius, the Line graph of Start of the year entity should show "306" from Jan-Dec 2021 and "212" from Jan-Feb 2022 so technically the line should fluctuate a bit, these are based from the excel data.
For my second concern, the data on those gray cards should show the normal Inflow, Outflow, Reclass, Net Inflow/Outflow, Soy, YTD of the country of a specific month. So if the slicer is currently filtered to Month: Feb 2022 and Country: Mauritius, the data in those cards should show like this:
0 -3 0 -3 212 208
These are the Inflow, Outflow, Reclass, Net Inflow/Outflow, SoY and YTD (in order)of Mauritius in Feb 2022 per the excel data sheet.
The Risk and Audit below the gray cards should also show as below when the slicer is filtered to Month: Feb 2022 and Country: Mauritius

Good day.
The line graph in the combined visual works now. What I did was in the X axis, I've put the "MMM-YY" from the disconnected calendar and then in the Line Y-axis, I've inputted the "Rolling SoY Entity Count". It created a fluctuating line now and the figures per months are all correct as well once mouse is hovered, it now shows "306" from Jan-Dec 2021 and "212" from Jan-Feb 2022 for the country of Mauritius. The problem before was in the measure, the variable should be VAR __NUMBER_OF_MONTHS = 13.
My only problem now is the cards in where it needs to show the data particularly only for that month.
These are the Inflow, Outflow, Reclass, Net Inflow/Outflow, SoY and YTD (in order). Below should be the output if filtered to Feb 2022 and country Mauritius.
