Hello,

I need your help.

I really do not why anytime pivot table (showed in the movie) update, row height always resize.

I tried to manually change format cells of pivot table by reducing font size; lock rows of pivot table ; I selected rows of pivot tables and reduced their height. I also tried to Reduce font size of cells of such rows.

Nothing worked.

I also tried to look for a way to change the font size of custom/duplicated PivotTable Style:  I noticed I can modify the Border or Fill but not the font size.

When I click "format", I can not change the font and size (I can see these sections but they are not highlighted). I only can modify the Border and Fill.

It's really frustrating.

To be more precise, I set row height to fixed size 13cm. Anytime pivot table update, 2nd to 5th rows of pivot table change from 13cm to 14.5 cm. Moreover the  first row or Pivot table (see "vendor" row) get higher than other rows.

Anybody can help me?

Thank you very much!!!

Mark

Hi Mark,

I'm not sure what would be causing this and I can't replicate it. Have you tried different report layouts? i.e. go to the Design tab and in the Layout group there is a button for Report Layout allowing you to choose Compact, Outline or Tabular.

Hi Mynda.

Thanks for you support.

I tried but that does not works.

I attach to you the Excel file.

I set row height (from row nr 2 to nr 7) to cm 13. Once you change the filter in pivot table in the top right corner (i.e. Vendor comm. Supplier, you will see height of rows changes.

2nd row height changes from 13cm to 23,5 cm. Other rows increase to 14cm.

I do not know how to get them fixed and stable to cm 13.

Thanks

Mark

Hello,

The file did not get uploaded. From what I notice on your video it seems your data in your drop down lists (some or all) are wider than your column width. AA7 also changes from value All to a specific article number. Check if you have line break activated on those cells.

Anders

Apparently the cell A1 and A2 is formatted to 18 point and that is causing the issue.

Hope this helps.

Sunny

Hi Sunny,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I didn't notice that indeed.

Now I understand why first row resized to 23.5cm.

Do you know how to set row height to a fixed value?

Now other problem is that if i set height to 13 cm, after any update, it always changes to 14.5 cm

Thanks

Mark
