Couple of of things, have searched the Pivot table forum and there is a thread which possibly answers my question but I can't open it - not sure why, I don't seem to be able to view any "old" posts in any forums, it was posted 1 year ago, not sure if there is a time limit ?
Anywhoo question is am creating a new Dashboard and have inserted a pivot table which is displayed fine and dandy BUT there is no information transposed into the Field ranges, - so I opened Power Pivot to "Add" and that allows me to add after renaming but they become "Values" and cannot be moved, have also tried using the "Add to Data Model" function but am getting the following error message, note the Data is on a separate tab within the worksheet where the pivot table is located
The selected range in invalid. Select a valid range. Exception from HRESULT:0x800A03EC

Can you clarify what means "BUT there is no information transposed into the Field ranges," ?

Check your profile please, you have there 2 buttons to show the topics you have started and the topics you have posted into.
