I've been through a few of your videos and started watching the stock video. However, I only have mutual fund portfolios through an institution, not actual stocks. Do you have a spreadsheet download or video to show how I could track how the investment is doing on my own?
I don't like the charts that come from the institution. They are confusing and overwhelming and don't make a lot of sense to me. I'd rather have my own simple portfolio tracker showing how much I originally invested, how much money they're moving around where, how much they are docking me for each transaction, and other things that make sense.
BTW, your videos are amazing and I only wish I had found you years ago.
Thank you
Hi and welcome to our forum! It's great to hear you found my videos helpful
The built in STOCKHISTORY and stock data types tools can't get your data, but if you can extract the data from your institution's reporting system to a csv, text or Excel file and import the data into Excel then you can build your own custom reports.
Depending on how and where the data is stored, you may be able to use Power Query to get the data from a web page ( https://www.myonlinetraininghub.com/get-data-from-the-web-with-power-query) or file that has been exported from your institution.
I hope that points you in the right direction.
