I track project for work. For example, the beginning of the month of June would be May 29th through June 28th. Everything between those dates would be counted as June projects.
I am a novice and have tried to do this to no avail.
I am more than willing to learn if someone wants to walk me through this.

Hi Charles,
We have similar cut off dates at work, I have a spreadsheet where I set the months and their cut-off in a table and used an array formula to find the months. Please see attached sheet, the array is in cell D2. This is an array formula, so you will need to enter with ctrl+shift+enter in order for it to work properly if you are working in excel 2019 or under.

Hi Charles!
So I took your data and in the "Completed" tab I added a new column for Month Completed, using helper data on the same sheet with your days to calculate the months in your cut-off period and updated your pivot to use that column instead of the "Date Completed" column. I hope this helps, or points you in the direction you are looking to go.
