Do you have a best practices or best data sets video pertaining to creating Dashboards? Best Information used in a headline versus as a actual graph.
For example, a certain type of data set looks best in a bar graph and another in a line graph.
Do Data sets need to have so many columns/rows to be effective to draw conclusions from? I do remember that data needs to be in a tabular format.
What is the best way to summarize data?

There's no minimum number of columns for datasets to be effective, it will all depend on your business and how complex it is.
The best way/easiest way to summarise data is with a PivotTable. You can check out my introduction to PivotTables video to get started with PivotTables.
