Hello All

Would anyone happen to know the best chart to use to visualise this data set.

I have a customer base with 2 products.  The purpose is to visualise those customers that took Product 1 only, product 2 only and those that took both products.

Product 1 x customer count

Product 2 x customer count

Both products x customer count

The purpose is to visualise show overlapping of customers that took both products.

Any help appreciated

Thanks!

I prefer simple Bar Charts as they are easy to understand

Hello Alan

thanks for replying. I like simple too. However a user wants something a little different.

The request was a chart show overlapping of customers, like almost a Venn Diagram.

Any other ideas Excel people?

much appreciated

Hi Barbara,

Excel doesn't have a Venn Diagram chart type, but maybe if you set the series overlap to 100% you'll get a column that shows the proportions of each category. See attached.
