I have a bar chart displaying the risk level of a series of projects.
I'd like the bars with High risk to be red, Medium risk to be orange, and low risk to be yellow.
The Data labels for these are all black.
I know how to make these changes, but whenever I apply a filter to the chart options or when I refresh the data, the colors seem to rever.
How can I color these bars without any impact upon refresh?

Try removing all filters from the PivotTable, then apply the formatting. If that doesn't work, please share your file so we can see the set up of your PivotTable and see if we can find a solution for you.

I changed the color settings as suggested, prior to applying filters.
I've tested by adding options and and refreshing the data. the color scheme is being preserved.
