Is there anyway to keep the formatting of a cell that is referenced in a text box? On the attachment, I've added a text box to pull in what is in the corresponding time frames tabs to show the $ difference for each 4,12,26,&52wks. The formatting is green/red on the tab, but the text box doesn't keep the formatting. Is there away to show this as green/red on the dashboard?

Hi Sunny,
It seems like it doesn't keep the formatting when you use the slicer then because it is pasted as a picture and not linked to the formula. I also want to keep the text box next to the pivot chart. I can only do what you mentioned by pasting it into a cell. Are you able to update and repost the spreadsheet I have attached with what you are referencing? Maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks!

Hi Cara
When I recreated the formula into another cell and copy paste link the cell, it seems to work.
You can delete the old formula in F1 but do not delete the column otherwise it will fail.
Frankly I have no idea why it is not working properly. I suspect there could be some kind of corruption to the file.
You may want to recreate a new file and try again.

it doesnt seem possible for a text box to carry over formatting from what i can see, however you could put the formula in a cell behind the bar graph and make the background transparent, seems to show a simular effect?
The fomula on each sheet needed up dating to include the sheet names as it was referencing a pivot table, but i gave it a quick test and seems to be working.
