Hi, hope someone can help. I have a numerical list in column C and wish to enter data beside the particular number entered in the first part of the user form with the rest of the data entered from the user form being entered beside that found number.

User form

     enter voucher number   501

     enter employee #         123

     enter  name                 J Doe

so it is to find voucher 501 in the list and then input details beside that number

        Emp #  Name

500

501    123      J Doe

502

Thanks very much for your help

Hi Phil,

I have uploaded the Voucher Forms worksheet. The voucher may be removed and returned 4 times before used. I have set it up that it would have two forms for removal and returned. I have not created the return one yet as I am stuck on having if find the voucher first and then entering the details accordingly. I also could not get the calendar as you have in your user form video which is great by the way.

Thanks very much for taking the time to look at this.

Regards

Hi Phil,

I'm confused.  The Voucher Removal form is to enter data?  Not to delete a record?

When you say the voucher is 'removed', do you mean it is 'checked out' like it is in use by someone?

How do you keep track of how many times a voucher is used?

What happens when the voucher is used 4 times?  Is it deleted?  What if someone enters the voucher number of an expired voucher?

How are voucher numbers generated?

Why are there 5 areas set up to hold information?  This should all be in a single table?

Is the APV number the voucher number?

What data goes into the Voucher Removal and Voucher Return Fields?

Can you please provide some sample data with dummy inputs for the forms, and how you expect the forms/process to work in various scenarios.

Regards

Phil
