I have received this file in forum - general questions and answers
My question is how to define column A to be active in any other column
And not just in column A?

Hi Lea,

Sorry I don't understand what you mean.  Can you rephrase the question or explain the process you are trying to achieve?

Regards

Phil

I apologize for the unclear writing, I speak Hebrew and use Google translation.
I'll try to explain it more accurately -
In the attachment - when you see a cell in column A, a drop-down list of cities appears
And this is excellent for me to my file
My problem is that it works only in column A
And I need it to work for me either in column C or any other column?

The question is how to do it?

Thank you very much for your response!
Leah

Hi Lea,

No problem.  It sounds like you need to use a data validation list.  I can see there's some VBA in the workbook but you don't need any of that with the DV list.

Check out that blog post and see if you can implement what you need.

Regards

Phil

Hi Lea,

I now realise this is the same qs you asked in the General Qs & Answers and Mynda replied telling you that Data Validation lists was the solution too.

Please don't ask the same question more than once. Mynda and I have both spent time on this now to give you the same answer.

Phil
