Hi everyone
I require to analyse the split between labour and materials.
Labour is lumped together at the bottom of the table, so I can't analyse it against 'Improvement' and 'Repairs'.
Is there a way I can carry out these changes?
My idea was to unpivot 'Rate' and 'Labour Time' (albeit after I have carried out a splitting process to remove the info after the paragraph return). The total relating to materials (e.g. the roof) would be derived from 'Quantity' multiplied by the 'Rate' and the total relating to labour would arrive from the labour rate multiplied by the labour time.

Added a rather crude query and loaded it to Sheet2, comparing it with the desired output. I believe that's what you need, although the row and column order are not exactly the same, the end result seems to match your table.
